Sukkot commonly translated as Festival of Tabernacles is a 7 day festival beginning on the 15th day of the seventh month. It is one of the Three Pilgrimage Festivals (Shalosh Regalim) on which the Israelites were commanded to perform a pilgrimage to the Temple. Booths/Tabernacles are built as we are commanded to dwell in booths seven days (Lev. 23:42–43). The Festival culminates with Shemini Atzeret (8th day of Solemn Assembly). Come celebrate.
